In 2020, we purchased the former Donut Connection location in Butler, and by 2021, renovations were underway. We revitalized the space inside and out and worked diligently to recreate the classic donuts that so many people remember and love.

As a nonprofit organization, all proceeds from our efforts are reinvested into the community. Every purchase helps us expand our impact—supporting more individuals, creating more inclusive job opportunities, and strengthening the community we all share.
Responsibilities:
Execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures in a timely fashion.
Produce consistent, high quality finished baked products to customers and ensure all products meet visual and taste expectations.
Ensure brand production standards and systems are executed on shift and transition to crew position when production levels are complete for the day.
Maintain a consistently high level of product quality, environment, and optimum output with minimum waste.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen/work area.
Demonstrate commitment to company products and services.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferably 1-3 years of baking experience. We are willing to train the right candidates.
Ability to work overnight shifts.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
Must be punctual and highly reliable.
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow recipes, and can multitask.
Act 33/34 clearances will be required.

Daylight hours (schedule may vary)
Hours can be 5:30AM to 10:00AM, 9:00AM to close (2ish), 5:30AM to close (2ish). We close at 2:00 but could be there longer doing closing work depending on how busy it is
2-3 days/per week
Casual workers must work less than 30 hours/per week
Ability to work on some weekends

Responsibilities:
Operate cash registers, greet customers, take food and drink orders, and complete transactions.
Regularly clean workstations, brew and grind coffee, restock cups and food items, and assist bakers.
Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to agency policies.
Complies with all proper uniform standards and sanitation/hygiene requirements.
Present for all assigned shifts and holds self-accountable for ensuring successful transition to additional shifts. May need to stay late, come in early or report for shifts outside of the normal schedule.
Demonstrates practical knowledge, problem-solving and decision-making skills; anticipates problems and develops workable solutions.
Must be able to work on foot for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
Act 33/34 clearances will be required.
Ability to read and write with basic math skills.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
